I really appreciate all the e-mails I get from the people who read my books. They turn every day into Valentine’s Day! So I personally read each one I receive. And even though I sometimes get pretty far behind, I do eventually answer them all.

In the meantime, I hope you’ll stop by and say hello at MySpace.
If you’re wondering if I do manuscript critiques, the answer is yes! I charge a lot, but I’m pretty dang good at it, if I do say so myself.
Here’s a note from a satisfied customer:
Sonya gave me one of the most thorough and helpful critiques I’ve ever had. Her comments were spot on, always honest, yet kind. She helped me see the troubled spots in my free verse novel, and pushed me to take my manuscript from good to great. After I did the revisions from her critique, the first agent I submitted my novel to made an offer of representation. I highly recommend Sonya’s critique service.

I’m happy to report that Lisa’s book, I Heart You, You Haunt Me, will be published by Simon Pulse in Spring 2008!
And here's a note from another happy customer:
Hello Sonya -
I just wanted to let you know my manuscript made it to my mailbox safely! I plopped down in my recliner last night , popped open the envelope and found LOTS of things to think about.
Much of what you told me, I think I knew in my gut already. Specifically, the problems that you had with the manuscript. You were dead on about them. You shed SO MUCH light on them for me. After I wrote the story, I really wasn't sure what kind of market it would fit into, all the while knowing deep inside that it needed to be
edited so that it COULD fit into a specific market. I just didn't know how to do that. And that's exactly why I went to you for help. Because I needed lots of help!
I will be reading your comments over and over to really study them and I will definitely take your advice about the books you suggested. You're pretty amazing! And you're very very good at what you do. (Could you relocate to Vero Beach and be my mentor?)
You were also very generous with your positive comments regarding my poetic
abilities. So nice of you.
From the bottom of my heart, thanks, Sonya! You did a super job!
Bye for now,
Elizabeth Kray
